This Doctor made me feel at ease to start with. His body language reassured me.
I asked him questions without feeling intimidated or that I was taking up his time.
Yes, he had time for me. I'm use to doctors looking at their watch in secret.
At times we joked. It was sitting down talking to a friend.

I had the most caring experience with Mr Gideon Ellis, this is my second visit in the last two year’s,
Mr Gideon was very very attentive, patience, and very gentle, he explained very clearly .
I have to point out That Mr Gideon is a credit to the NHS, I wish everyone can follow his footsteps.
I hope he can go a long way. We need to look after Dr like him .
I am thankful to him to reassure me about my condition.

I saw Mr Ellis at the Royal Free London NHS today. Although he was having a busy morning I felt that I was receiving his full attention when I was with him. He took me through the procedure explaining everything that appeared on the monitor and found time to talk about further possible treatment at a later date.
Everybody that I have had contact with at the hospital this week in have been efficient and very polite trying to do their best for the patient.

My first appointment with Mr Gidon Ellis, and I was pleasantly surprised. He was very understanding and interested in my situation. He went into my past history regarding my prostate problem and explained my situation clearly to me. i look forward to seeing him again when the results of tests he has set up are in.

Mr Gidon Ellis is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
He has a broad general urology practice with specialist interests in kidney stones, male lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and laser prostate surgery (HoLEP). He also specialises in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of urothelial cancers in the bladder and upper urinary tracts.
He is a core member of the bladder cancer, renal cancer and stone MDTs. He has served as faculty member on various national and international workshops and masterclasses in both stone management and HoLEP surgery.
Beyond offering clinical excellence and surgical expertise Mr Ellis' practice focuses on holistic, evidence-based care to all, with the patient at the centre of the consultation and any decision-making process.
